GXBank is dedicated to reshaping the future of banking and promoting financial inclusivity. To accelerate this vision, we’re launching the TeXnovasi Accelerator Programme. This 14-week initiative invites innovative Seed and Growth-stage startups to collaborate with us in developing cutting-edge solutions.
The TeXnovasi Accelerator Programme concludes with Demo Day, where startups will pitch their PoC to GXBank, investors, and partners, driving their next phase of growth.

Join us on a transformative 14-week journey to shape the future of digital banking and financial inclusion. The programme will be conducted virtually, with an in-person Demo Day. The top 2-3 startups will be selected to execute their Proof-of-Concept in collaboration with GXBank.

1. What is the GXBank TeXnovasi Accelerator Programme
The GXBank TeXnovasi Accelerator Programme is a 14-week, cohort-based initiative designed to fast-track the growth of Seed and Growth-stage startups. Participants will gain hands-on mentorship, exclusive access to key resources, and tailored guidance to develop a Proof-of-Concept (PoC) aligned with GXBank core business objectives.
Selected startups will have the unique opportunity to collaborate directly with GXBank, propose partnership opportunities, and receive ongoing mentorship to sharpen their business strategies.
The programme concludes with a Demo Day, where you’ll present your PoC solution to GXBank key stakeholders, potential investors, and partners, setting your company up for its next phase of growth.
2. Who are the organisers of this programme?
The GXBank TeXnovasi Accelerator Programme is organised by GXBank, with 1337 Ventures serving as the main partner and lead accelerator.
3. Who is eligible to apply?
Startups in the early stages of development, with a working prototype or minimum viable product (MVP), and focused on industries such as fintech or complementary solutions in payments, banking, and related sectors, are encouraged to apply. This programme is open exclusively to Malaysian startups or startups operating within Malaysia.
4. When is the application deadline?
Application is open from 5 November 2024 to 5 January 2025.
5. Do I need to be incorporated to apply?
Yes, startups need to be legally incorporated by the time the programme begins.
6. Is there a fee for this programme?
No, there is no application fee to participate in this programme; it is completely free of charge.
7. How long is the programme and how will it be conducted?
The 6 months programme will be conducted entirely online via video conferencing (Zoom) and will include a mix of virtual self-paced learning through Leet Academy (Alpha Startups), workshops, dedicated office hours with GXBank’s executives and fintech professionals, and personalized mentoring sessions.
The programme will culminate in a live, in-person Demo Day, giving startups the opportunity to showcase their Proof-of-Concept (POC) solutions and pitch to key stakeholders at GXBank.
8. What support will we receive during the programme?
You will receive:

We evaluate startups based on, but not limited to, the following criteria:
- Product-Market Fit and Innovation: Alignment with our focus on problem statements and the ability to offer solutions to GXBank.
- Growth Potential and Scalability: The capability for significant growth and the potential to scale effectively.
- Team Experience and Skill Set: The qualifications and expertise of the founding team.
- Commitment to the Programme: The dedication of the team to actively engage and participate throughout the programme.
11. What are the programme’s expectations from startups?
Startups are expected to:
- Commit full-time to the programme
- Participate actively in workshops, mentoring sessions, and office hours
- Meet progress milestones and goals agreed upon with mentors
12. Will you help us with fundraising?
While we don’t provide direct funding through this programme or assist every startup with fundraising, we do offer valuable resources, including pitch training and introductions to our network of investors.
13. What happens if we don’t get selected?
If your startup isn’t selected, you can still stay engaged with us through our 1337 Ventures & GXBank community events, workshops, and future programme applications. We will notify you of your application status when the application period closes.
