Why are we doing this?

A message from Bikesh Lakhmichand

Leet Launchpad isn’t just another startup event—it’s a deliberate effort to reshape how we discover, support, and spotlight Malaysian startups. When we first started 1337 Ventures, our mission went beyond just investing. We set out to build a startup nation—one where hidden talent gets surfaced, underdogs are backed, and real innovation can thrive.

Over the years, through accelerators, pitch sessions, and a whole lot of hustle, we’ve seen one thing clearly: Malaysia has great startups—but too often, they don’t make it into the right rooms. Some pitch too early, some too late, and others simply go unnoticed.

Leet Launchpad was born out of the need to change that. It’s a quarterly showcase platform for the most promising startups we’ve discovered through Pitch Tuesday and Alpha Startups. But it’s more than just pitches—it’s the start of a full-circle journey.

We’re creating a pipeline where real problems from corporate partners fuel innovation, those ideas evolve into viable startups, and founders gain the visibility and investor access they deserve. From problem to validation, visibility to funding—this is the ecosystem we’re building.

Because visibility matters. Trust matters. And founders need more than just hope—they need a launchpad.

If you believe in the power of innovation and want a front-row seat to what Malaysia’s future could look like, Leet Launchpad is for you.

At every Leet Launchpad, we’ll be showcasing Malaysia & Southeast Asia most promising startups.
