Analyst Intern

Job opening for Analyst Intern to identify key investment opportunities & discover early stage startups.

Responsibilities

As an Analyst Intern you will work closely with Investment team. You will be shadowing our associates for researching the market and companies to know competitive landscapes and identify the potential investment opportunities. Moreover, you will be assisting the team in the investment process for both the VC portfolio as well as for the Equity Crowdfunding (ECF) deals, which includes performing due diligence, drafting offer documents, organizing roadshows, etc. Where applicable, you will also be responsible for facilitating participants involved in Leet programmes.

Your responsibilities are as follows:

  • You will be responsible to shadow associates on due diligence of investors, issuers and startups, for both our VC portfolio as well as for our ECF platform. Conducting market research, fact checking & crafting the pitch story. 
  • You will be shadowing associates of the team & work closely with Startups Founders & SMEs Business Owners who are fundraising
  • You will work closely with the associates and team to ensure security, integrity and the quality of our ECF platform meets the regulatory standards

Requirements

The ideal candidate experience & skills needed:

  • Self-starter with superior work ethic and able to take on great responsibility
  • Analytical, organised working style and good communication skills is a priority
  • Prior experience in market research 
  • Practical experience generating documentation and reports
  • General understanding of Equity Crowdfunding and Investing
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to develop solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Good time-management skills and ability to work remotely 
  • English fluency in speaking and writing is required (Other languages are a plus)

Important: Applicants will need to show or demonstrate experience by sharing previous projects with 1337 Ventures.
