Marketing Associate

Running campaigns and events to engage with our audience.

Responsibilities

As a Marketing Associate, you’ll report to the Head of Marketing and work with the marketing team and analysts. Your responsibility will be to create and manage marketing campaigns for Leet Capital, a Securities Commission (SC) licensed Equity Crowdfunding (ECF) platform in Malaysia. Your primary focus will be on marketing activities that generate leads and brand exposure using a variety of channels, including but not limited to a blog, website, social media, email marketing, ebooks, events, public relations, and videos.

Ultimately, you’ll be in charge of many parts of a campaign across the course of our platform’s and services’ lifetime.

Your responsibilities are as follows:

  • Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns
  • Conducting research and analysing data to identify and define audiences
  • Working closely with the Head of Marketing in devising and presenting ideas and strategies
  • Managing campaigns on social media
  • Setup & Monitoring Ads Performance
  • Writing and proofreading creative copy. Working closely with writer & designer.
  • Organising events & managing virtual/on-ground activities (ie: Exhibitions, Seminars, Bootcamps, Roadshows & Pitching Sessions)
  • Maintaining websites and looking at data analytics
  • Email marketing, updating databases and using a customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Coordinating internal marketing and an organisation’s culture
  • Weekly progress update during our company huddle meeting & marketing team weekly catch up

Requirements

The ideal candidate experience & skills needed:

  • Project management skills with good organisation and planning skills
  • Communication skills and networking ability
  • Adaptability & strong attention to detail
  • Creativity and writing skills
  • Good awareness and understanding of trends for startups, SMEs & investors with sound financial/investing knowledge.  
  • A decent understanding of websites, digital video/audio platforms & social media platforms including, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Clubhouse & podcasts.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as a valuable member of a team.
  • Passionate & willing to learn 
  • Good to have: 
    • Product development skills.
    • Numerical & IT skills are a plus.
    • Experience in working with startups, business owners, and High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI).
    • You’re familiar with google docs & google drive. 
    • Basic understanding of video/motion graphics editing software experience (e.g. Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, iMovie etc).
    • Graphic design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite, and Figma). 
    • Live-streaming tools such as OBS, StreamYard, etc. 
    • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress).
